We also use privacy-minimal, first-party product analytics to understand whether visitors select images, start a tool, receive a result, and download it. These events use server-hashed visitor and session identifiers plus coarse attributes such as device category, language, country code, referring hostname, file-count range, processing duration, and standardized error code. For signed-in use, an irreversible account hash lets the protected admin report distinguish signed-in users with and without a completed purchase; analytics events do not contain an email address or raw user ID, and the report shows only a masked account. We do not store images, file names, masks, object-storage keys, full IP addresses, full browser fingerprints, or full referring URLs in this analytics database. Browser analytics is disabled when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.
When you use AI precise object or watermark cleanup, a derived image and its mask are temporarily uploaded to ShopBG Remover private storage and processed by our self-hosted LaMa service. Inputs are deleted when processing reaches a final state. The result is deleted after it is recovered by your browser; if recovery is interrupted, it is retained for no more than 24 hours. AI background removal sends the required image to its processing API. For refresh recovery, your browser can retain the original image, edited source, AI foreground, output, task state, and composition settings in local IndexedDB for up to 24 hours. You can clear this saved workspace at any time.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use a session cookie (session) to keep you logged in. It is set on .shopbgremover.com and expires after 30 days. Browser localStorage keeps a random device identifier, while IndexedDB stores optional refresh-recovery data for up to 24 hours. Recovery data is separated by signed-in account or device, automatically expires, and can be cleared from the workspace. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We retain your account and usage records for as long as your account is active. First-party product analytics events are retained for no more than 180 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing yubudong2023@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at yubudong2023@gmail.com.
ShopBG Remover is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
